Bozeman, Belgrade, and a season that ends on a golf course
The Montana Adult Baseball League runs its year the way a valley league does: registration opens in the spring, new players are drafted onto clubs at a single afternoon in Belgrade, the season plays out over the summer, and a four-man scramble at Bridger Creek marks the end of it before playoff week starts. The league's own tone matches — "another good year of Baseball!!"
What it publishes is thin: a Schedule page with nothing on it, a bracket promised to be updated as games progress, and no team, field or standing anywhere. High Cheese gives a league one address carrying the schedule, the table and every roster, so the summer between the draft in April and the golf in August is visible to anybody in the valley wondering whether he could play.
