Written by somebody who is pleased about it
The league's announcements are the season opening — thanking everybody for their patience while preparation was finished, confirming registration is open, giving the draft time and place, and signing off looking forward to another good year of baseball — and the golf tournament, with its course, date, tee time and price.
Two posts is the whole record of the year, and both are useful, which is more than most noticeboards in this directory manage. A league on High Cheese gets a wire on its own page where finals post themselves as the books are finalized, so the season between the two announcements leaves a trace.
