Ninety-eight dollars, and then the playoffs
The league runs an annual four-man scramble at Bridger Creek Golf Course north of Bozeman, capping the regular season before playoff week gets under way. First tee time is 11:30 AM, the cost is $98 a person, and green fees are paid through the same registration system that takes the league's baseball sign-ups.
A league that puts its whole membership on a golf course the weekend before the playoffs understands what it is actually for. Publishing the price and the tee time is what makes it happen, and High Cheese carries a league's events, entries and payments on the same page as its schedule, so the scramble and the bracket that follows it live in one place.
