Martins, Foxes, Lakers, Bulls, Horned Frogs, Pirates
Fairmont Martins, Fox Lake Foxes, Heron Lake Lakers, Jackson Bulls, Lakefield Horned Frogs and Windom Pirates. All six are Class C in Region 10.
Lakefield chose the Horned Frogs, which is a Texas animal that does not live within a thousand miles of Jackson County, and it is the best name in Minnesota town ball for exactly that reason.
Fox Lake, Heron Lake and Lakefield are all named for water, because this corner of the state is.
The league's own name is spelled Nite rather than Night, which dates it: that spelling belongs to the era of painted signage and newspaper agate type.
High Cheese gives a league its own address with the schedule, the table and the rosters on it.
