Heron Lake
Nothing is published about joining: no form, fee, deadline or roster limit.
Heron Lake Lakers are 0-16. Whatever that club needs, some of it is players, and there is no route by which anybody in Jackson or Nobles County could offer.
High Cheese gives a league a free agent pool, so six clubs can be found by anybody willing to drive across southwestern Minnesota on a summer evening.
First Nite League in detail
- Six clubs around the lakes of southwestern Minnesota, and a name spelled the old way.
- One league fixture played, and full seasons of up to twenty-two games behind it.
- One league game played between six clubs, and a Windom side 20-2 outside it.
- One league result, and a Heron Lake side that has lost sixteen straight elsewhere.
- Six clubs, and one of them is called the Horned Frogs.
- Two run differentials exist, and they are plus 3 and minus 3.
- No contact for the league or any of its six clubs.
- No ballparks named, in six towns around the lakes.
- Class C Region 10 for all six, so the league is level.
- Nothing specific to this league appears in the association's feed.
- No album or gallery.
- Nobody is thanked in public.
- All six are Class C, so they arrive at the state tournament together.
- No founding year, and a name spelled the way signs used to be.
- No league officers named; the association publishes its own board.
- Which clubs, answered. Whether the league has started, barely.
- Association documents and classification criteria, none of them this league's.
- One league game played, and no dates published for the rest.
- Nothing is for sale.
- No crew or assignor is named.
