Age, then standard
The association grades on age from 18 up through 25, 35, 40, 50, 55 and 60, and then grades again within the two youngest brackets: 18+, 18AA and 18A, and 25+, 25AA and 25A.
Six age steps and three skill tiers at the bottom is a structure built by people who have watched mismatched games ruin seasons.
The 55+ and 60+ divisions run in spring only, which is the sensible way round: those are the players least likely to want a second season in Texas heat.
The league keeps a League Details section and a Resources section.
High Cheese keeps each division's rules beside its own schedule.
