Three years of the Kulwicki Cup
2024: the Arlington Mallards took it in game five, their third spring/summer championship in six years.
2025: the DMV Vandals swept the defending champion Mallards, winning game three 4-0 for their first title as a franchise. It capped an eighteen-game winning streak that began on May 10 after a slow start.
2026: the Vandals went back to back, beating the Mallards 4-2 in game three of a hard-fought series.
The Mallards have reached five consecutive championship series and finished the 2026 regular season 21-1-2 with the Capital Division title.
A named trophy, three years of results and a genuine rivalry, all published.
High Cheese builds and runs a bracket seeded off the standings and keeps every season, so a run like the Mallards' five straight finals has the record behind it.
