Exclusive use of wood
The defining rule is in the name. DC Wood uses wood bats exclusively and states it was the first modern-era recreational league in the DC Metro area to abandon metal and return to them.
It describes itself as a recreational league for skilled players, which is a careful phrase: recreational sets the stakes, skilled sets the standard, and wood enforces both.
The 2026 championship series went to a game three and the 2024 series to a game five, so the postseason is best-of-five or better.
No published rulebook renders beyond that.
High Cheese keeps a league's own rules beside its schedule.
