Somebody enjoys this
The league's front page carries full championship match reports, three years deep, written with real relish: the DUCCS, the boys in black and gold, hurled his way to a save, the engine that powered the Vandals all series long.
They close with hashtags: DCWOODBASEBALL, ChampionshipSunday, Vandalsculture, DUCCDYNASTY, BESTOFTHBEST.
That is a person having a good time writing about amateur baseball, and it is the most readable prose on any league site in this directory.
A league on High Cheese gets a wire where finals post themselves as books are finalized, so the person writing keeps writing the parts only a person can.
