Every grade the association awards
Three clubs are Class A, eight are Class B across two different districts and regions, and one is Class C.
That means a Class A side from Elko plays a Class C side from Veseli in a league fixture, which the association's classification system exists precisely to keep apart at tournament time.
The reason is geography. Dakota, Rice and Scott counties have enough towns close together to fill a twelve-club schedule and not enough at any single grade to fill one on its own.
The league publishes no rules of its own; the association's criteria set the grades.
High Cheese keeps a league's own agreements beside its schedule, which is where an arrangement this mixed currently is not written down.
