Who the Athletics are
The Athletics are an adult baseball club in the Cincinnati Adult Baseball League, Cincinnati, Ohio.
The name is in use in the major leagues today, as are twenty-five others in this league.
The Cincinnati Adult Baseball League rents its site from HomeTeamsOnline under an account called CINCYABL. Every request to it returns an error page instead.
Cincinnati had the first fully professional baseball club in the country, and its adult league now has no readable website.
An address a club rents inside somebody else's query string can go dark in an hour, and a High Cheese page for the Athletics sits at one the club owns.
