Not that Miami
The Miami Valley is the Dayton region of Ohio, named for the river, and every league that uses the name has to spend a moment explaining that it is not in Florida. This one no longer gets the chance, because miamivalleybaseball.com does not resolve at all.
That is a domain that lapsed. There is no server to error, no certificate to fail, no page to 404 -- the name has simply stopped being anybody's.
Ohio is one of the worst-served states in these records. A Tiffin league folded and left a note. Southwest Ohio and Cincinnati are both behind a platform outage. Cleveland is behind a bad certificate. Dayton's has vanished entirely.
A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns and somebody else maintains, so a lapsed renewal costs a league an invoice rather than its existence.
