Recruited, not phoned around
The league runs Umpire Registration as its own track with its own sign-up, sitting directly beside player registration.
At 56 to 60 teams across six divisions, this league needs crews on a scale nothing else here approaches, and it has built an intake for them rather than relying on somebody's contact list.
It is the second league in the directory to treat officials as people you recruit. Both are among the largest.
High Cheese assigns umpires off the same schedule the clubs already read, with availability and confirmations in one place, so a newly registered official gets a game rather than a place on a list.
