Advertisers, and a payment page for them
The league calls the section Advertisers rather than Sponsors, and runs a Miscellaneous Payments facility covering signage, web page ads, tournaments and fall ball.
The word choice is honest. A sponsor is thanked; an advertiser buys something, and this league is selling outfield signage and website placement to businesses in north Chicago.
Putting all four revenue lines behind one payment link is the sort of thing an organization does once it is carrying sixty teams and cannot chase cheques.
High Cheese carries sponsor placement on league and team pages where players and families already look, so signage reaches more than whoever came to the game.
