Who the Mets are
The Mets are an adult baseball club in the 28+ division of the Austin Metro Baseball League, Austin, Texas.
They finished 12-6 across eighteen games, second of eight on winning percentage, and outscored their opponents by 26 runs.
The league's own pitch is that it is not pickup baseball: former professional, college and varsity players, paid umpire crews and booked fields.
12-6 on a league standings page is the whole public record of this club's summer, and High Cheese is where the games behind it live.
