Four dates, all financial
The league's published calendar is almost entirely about money. Early bird registration closes 15 March, extended to 31 March. Installment plan balances are automatically withdrawn on 15 April. All balances are due by 1 May under a strict no pay, no play policy. The season then runs Sundays from May to September.
Not one of those dates is a game.
That is a league that has learned the hard way which deadlines actually decide whether a season happens.
A season entered once on a High Cheese league page dates every one of those into each player's own calendar -- the discount deadline, the auto-withdrawal and the hard cut-off -- alongside the fixtures they pay for.
