Invitationals, and the state tournament
The New Ulm Brewer play invitational tournament baseball alongside their league season, listed centrally by the Minnesota Baseball Association, with the MBA state tournament above all of it.
The state tournament is why the classification points matter. At 30 points the New Ulm Brewer enter it as a Class A club, and the rest of the summer is preparation.
A New Ulm side driving hours to a June invitational deserves the bracket on the same page as the schedule, which is what High Cheese does.
