Seventeen to fifty
The New Ulm Brewer publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to fifty.
Thirty-three years across a Class A bench, from a high school junior to a fifty-year-old, on a club that lost three games all summer. Most Class A rosters in this set are men in their twenties; New Ulm are playing the top grade with a town ball roster shape and winning.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from New Ulm with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 50 is the most interesting thing about New Ulm Brewer, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
