All six go the same way
The league runs no tournament of its own. The association runs in-season tournaments and the state tournament, bracketed by classification.
Because every club here is Class C, this league arrives at that tournament together rather than splitting the way mixed-classification leagues do. Whatever the table says in August is a real ranking of clubs who will meet the same opposition afterwards.
Starbuck arrive at 15-7 overall.
High Cheese builds and runs a bracket seeded off the standings a league already keeps.
County Line League in detail
- Six Class C clubs, and half of them are two towns that had to combine.
- Ten league games each, against overall seasons of thirteen to twenty-two.
- Starbuck 8-2, three clubs on winning streaks, and a Norway Lake side at 2-11 overall.
- No results, and an Atwater side at 13-6 with a differential of plus 3.
- Six clubs from eight towns, because two of them are pairs.
- Run differential, and two clubs sitting on exactly minus 21.
- No contact for the league or any of its six clubs.
- No form, no fee, and two clubs that exist because rosters ran short.
- No ballparks named, in towns where the ballpark is the landmark.
- Class C Region 8 for all six, so the schedule inside the league is level.
- Nothing specific to this league appears in the association's feed.
- No album or gallery.
- Nobody is thanked in public.
- No founding year, and two hyphenated names recording mergers nobody dated.
- No league officers named; the association publishes its own board.
- How good it is, answered exactly. Everything practical, not at all.
- Association documents and classification criteria, none of them this league's.
- Ten league games played, and no dates published.
- Nothing is for sale.
- No crew or assignor is named.
