A countdown that stopped
The league's front page carries a ticker reading welcome to the new home of Southern Nevada Adult Baseball, a weather panel, and a countdown clock -- which counts down to a date in March 2017.
Nine years is a long time for a clock to keep running, and it is the most honest thing on the page: the site was set up carefully once and has been kept going with results ever since.
The current announcements are the ones that matter: games this Sunday, and the summer and fall season starting 16 August.
A High Cheese league page pushes announcements into the schedule players already carry, so a season start reaches seven rosters rather than sitting under a stopped clock.
