The bracket, published a fortnight ahead
The league sets out its postseason in plain terms: the first round falls on Sunday August 16 with third against sixth and fourth against fifth in both divisions, and the winners play the first and second seeds on Sunday August 23.
A six-team bracket giving the top two a bye is the right shape for a division of that size, and publishing the seeding rule two weeks out means every club knows exactly what it is playing for in its last fixtures. High Cheese builds and runs a bracket off the standings the season already produced, so both divisions seed themselves the moment the final Sunday is played.
