The Polecats. A skunk, or a European ferret, depending which continent you ask, and either way an unusual thing for a town to put on a jersey. Monticello chose it and has stuck with it.

The Minnesota Baseball Association lists the ballpark's address with a suite number attached, 840 Chelsea Road West #744, which is a mailbox rather than a diamond and somebody's business address entered where the field should be.

Forty-one classification points is the second lowest Class A figure in the Metro Minny, above Elk River at forty-nine only if you count downward, and three games over in that division is a good summer.

Monticello is a Wright County city of about fifteen thousand on the Mississippi, best known for the nuclear plant on the river's edge.

The association has a suite number where the ballpark should be. High Cheese lets a club put its diamond in the field for its diamond.
