Every club at the top grade
Andover Aces, Anoka Bucs, Centennial Cougars, Champlin Park LoGators, Coon Rapids Redbirds, Elk River Lumberjacks, Forest Lake Brewers, Monticello Polecats, Shoreview Stumpgrinders and Twin Ports Timbers. All ten are Class A, Section 3.
Ten clubs at the association's highest classification, in one league, is the largest concentration of Class A baseball in this directory. The Classic Cannon Valley American League has six.
Champlin Park called itself the LoGators. Shoreview went with Stumpgrinders. Monticello are the Polecats. These are suburban towns choosing deliberately unglamorous names, which is its own tradition.
Twin Ports is Duluth and Superior, three hours north, playing in a metro league.
High Cheese gives a league its own address with the schedule, the table and the rosters on it.

- Run differential from plus 75 to minus 95, a 170-run spread at one grade.
- No contact for the league or any of its ten clubs.
- No form, no fee, and Class A clubs that recruit rather than wait.
- No ballparks named, and one club a hundred and fifty miles from the rest.
