9-5-1 in Lincoln, Nebraska
The Lincoln Ligers are an adult baseball club in the Lincoln Adult Baseball League, Nebraska. They finished 9-5-1 under manager Eduardo Yanez.
A liger is a lion and tiger hybrid that does not occur in the wild. This is the second Ligers in the directory after Detroit Lakes, Minnesota.
Every club in this four team league puts Lincoln in its own name, which is unusual: most leagues in this directory have clubs that assume the city and never say it.
Lincoln is Nebraska's capital, about three hundred thousand people, and the league runs seven to fifteen games a club.
Four clubs all leading with the same city name is a search problem, and what separates them is the mascot and a High Cheese page that carries it.
