Philadelphia is well served in these records. There is an amateur league with a seventeen-thousand-word rulebook, a live draft, tradeable picks and a ban on professional pitchers. There is a South Jersey league across the river with divisions named after four men and a published umpire fee schedule.
And there is this one, at gpmabl.com, which every browser refuses to open because its certificate does not verify.
Whatever Greater Philadelphia MSBL publishes -- and a league covering that catchment publishes something -- is behind a full-page security warning that most people will not click through.
A lapsed certificate is a smaller failure than a dead domain and produces exactly the same outcome. A High Cheese league page is served from infrastructure that renews its own, at an address the league owns, with the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages that simply open.
