Baseball at altitude, behind a login
Flagstaff sits at seven thousand feet, which makes it one of the more unusual places in America to play summer baseball -- thin air, long carry, cold evenings in June. A league there is worth finding.
It has no website. The address our directory holds is a Facebook page, and Facebook answers non-browser requests with HTTP 400, so nothing about it can be read from outside.
That matters more in Flagstaff than it would in Phoenix. A city of eighty thousand with a university in it has a constantly refreshing population of people who arrive, want to play, and have no idea what exists.
A High Cheese league page gives that league a permanent address with the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages -- findable by the graduate student in his first September who does not yet know anybody to ask.
