How to join the Mariners
Players do not sign up with Mariners directly. They register with the Denver MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
Reaching it at all takes ignoring that mismatch.
A player joins the league and is placed.
Somebody who wants the Mariners specifically is depending on a league placing them there, and the High Cheese free agent pool takes that signup straight to the club.
