Class B baseball in Webster, Minnesota

The Webster Sox are an amateur baseball club from Webster, Minnesota, playing Class B in the Dakota Rice Scott League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 20-4 in 2026 under manager Todd Klehn at Webster Community Park.

Twenty wins in twenty-four games is the best record in the Dakota Rice Scott, ahead of Elko's 21-7-2 on ratio, in a division that also produced Lonsdale at 3-18-1 and the Shakopee Coyotes at 2-20.

Thirty-three classification points is near the top of Class B, and after a season like this it is not going to stay there.

Webster is an unincorporated Rice County settlement, which makes it the fourth club in this league from a place with no incorporated population, alongside Saint Benedict, Saint Patrick and Union Hill. This one division is drawing four competitive teams out of four settlements that barely appear on a map.

The club is the Sox with no color attached, which is the only one of its kind here against four Black Sox, a Blue Sox and a Long Sox.

Sox with no color attached, from a settlement with no incorporated population, winning twenty of twenty-four. High Cheese gives Webster the page all three of those deserve.
