Springfield Pallys
The Central Illinois Wood Bat League has no domain of its own. The address our directory holds points at a shared platform with a parameter attached, and the parameter is the only thing in it with any character: SPRINGFIELDPALLYS.
The Pallys are presumably a Springfield club old enough to have been the league's original account holder, and their name has been carrying the whole competition's web presence ever since.
None of it answers. The platform returns a connection error to every request, on every league it hosts, including its own homepage.
A wood bat league in central Illinois has a specific, findable audience -- men who want the crack rather than the ping and are prepared to drive for it. A High Cheese league page gives that league its own address with the schedule, the standings and every roster on it, so being findable stops depending on a parameter inside somebody else's query string.
