How to join the Cubs
Players do not sign up with Cubs directly. They register with the Alamo MSBL, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The Cubs played thirteen games in the season the league last recorded.
The pool appears in the standings table, which is an unusual and honest way to show that unplaced players exist.
A side that played thirteen games will lose somebody over the winter, and High Cheese is where the replacement finds the club rather than the league.
