Eight teams, two grounds, three time slots
The WFMBL runs eight clubs -- the Black Sox, the Cyclones, the Dodgers, the Generals, the Jolly Rogers, the Panthers, the Pirates and the Spartans -- along the Wasatch Front north of Salt Lake City.
Games fall in three slots: Saturday mornings at nine, Saturday afternoons at three, and Tuesday evenings at seven, split between Ogden High School and Brigham City Pioneer Park.
The Jolly Rogers is the only name on that list nobody borrowed from a major league club.
It keeps a rules page, a previous champions page, new player registration, tournaments, officials, directions and photo albums, all on a rented platform whose front page also advertises background checks and domain names.
A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, so an eight-team league's record belongs to it rather than to a hosting product.
