Nisswa Lightning

Class B baseball in Nisswa, Minnesota

The Nisswa Lightning are an amateur baseball club from Nisswa, Minnesota, playing Class B in the Victory B League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 14-4 in 2026 under manager Aaron Jenkins at Nisswa City Park.

Thirty-four classification points is the highest Class B figure anywhere in this set, above Hamel at thirty-two and Delano at thirty-five being the only club graded higher in the class. Nisswa are effectively a Class A club that has not been reclassified yet, and fourteen wins in eighteen games will not slow that down.

The Victory B also holds Buckman at 14-2 and Fort Ripley at 4-12, both graded at twenty-six, so this division has real spread in it.

Nisswa is a Crow Wing County resort town of about two thousand in the Brainerd lakes, where the summer population is several times the winter one and the baseball happens in the window when everybody is there.

Thirty-four points, the hardest Class B grade in Minnesota, and fourteen wins in eighteen games. High Cheese gives Nisswa the page to say it is already a Class A club.
