Swing metal or wood, whatever you choose
The league announces a rule change on its front page under the heading New Bat Rules: swing metal or wood, whatever you choose, provided bats are within league rules at minus three with no illegal modifications.
Most adult leagues in this directory have gone the other way and mandated wood. Tulsa has done the opposite and opened it up, with a drop-three limit doing the safety work instead of a material ban.
Its second published rule is about dugouts, and is set out with the same directness -- home teams on the third base side, visitors on the first, and no grabbing the dugout of choice if your team gets there early.
Both rules exist because something happened. A rulebook belongs beside the fixture it governs, and a High Cheese league page keeps the current version at the league's own address next to the schedule, so a rule changed in the spring reaches the men playing under it.
