Playing the kids' game
The Metro Tulsa Baseball Association describes itself in three sentences and they are worth taking at face value: here in the men's league we are all about community, our group of guys love to be competitive and play the kids' game, and being respectful to the umpires and fans in attendance is of importance.
That is a league whose stated priority order is community, competition, conduct -- and which knows perfectly well it is a group of adults playing something built for children.
It keeps sections for sign-up, teams, schedule, rules, contacts and a FAQ for new players, and runs a mailing list for league news.
Its 2025 men's league champions are marked on the front page.
A High Cheese league page keeps the schedule, the standings and every roster at an address the league owns, so a league built around community has a record of who was in it.
