Invitationals, and the state tournament
The Moorhead Mudcats play invitational tournament baseball alongside their league season, listed centrally by the Minnesota Baseball Association, with the MBA state tournament above all of it.
The state tournament is why the classification points matter. At 88 points the Moorhead Mudcats enter it as a Class A club, and the rest of the summer is preparation.
A Moorhead side driving hours to a June invitational deserves the bracket on the same page as the schedule, which is what High Cheese does.
