Six characters and a dot-com: the shortest way to write Terre Haute MSBL and, presumably, the cheapest. It no longer resolves to anything.
Indiana carries another adult league in these records -- SouthShore, up on the Illinois line -- which runs eighteen clubs, streams its games, sells wood bats and is actively surveying its members about starting a fifty-and-over division. That league is thriving in public.
Terre Haute is a hundred and fifty miles south with a state university in it and no readable baseball at all.
The gap between those two is not talent or numbers. It is that one of them has an address that answers and one of them let a domain go.
A High Cheese league page is that address, permanently: the schedule, the standings and every roster rendered as pages the league owns, with nothing to renew and nothing to lose.
