Class A baseball in Saint Paul, Minnesota
The St. Paul Mudhens are an amateur baseball club from Saint Paul, Minnesota, playing Class A in the St. Paul League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 19-5 in 2026 under manager Richie Podvin at Dunning Stadium.
Three hundred and eighty classification points, and nineteen wins in twenty-four games. Almost every club graded above three hundred in this set had a mediocre or poor summer: the Blue Sox went 1-15 from 440, Crystal 6-14 from 465, the North End Storm winless from 321. The Mudhens are the exception at the top of the system.
The association lists the ballpark as Dunning Stadium and also as Toni Stone Field, at 1221 Marshall Avenue, which is the same address the Highland Park Beavers and the North End Storm use. Toni Stone grew up in Saint Paul and became the first woman to play as a regular on a men's professional baseball team, with the Indianapolis Clowns in 1953.
This is the third Mudhens in the Minnesota set, after Miesville and Minneota, and Miesville's went 26-4.
Three hundred and eighty points and nineteen wins, the one club at the top of the state that delivered. High Cheese gives the Mudhens the page to say so plainly.
