Class A baseball in Saint Paul, Minnesota
The Highland Park Beavers are an amateur baseball club from Saint Paul, Minnesota, playing Class A in the St. Paul League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 12-15 in 2026 under manager Patrick Sheehy at Toni Stone Field on Marshall Avenue.
Toni Stone grew up in Saint Paul and became the first woman to play as a regular on a men's professional baseball team, signing with the Indianapolis Clowns of the Negro American League in 1953 and taking over second base from Hank Aaron. The city named this ballpark after her. It is the most significant name attached to any diamond in this directory.
Three hundred and forty-six classification points is the second highest figure in the Minnesota set, behind Air Freight Unlimited at 386 and ahead of Crystal at 465 being the only clubs in that range. This is metropolitan Class A at close to full strength.
Twelve and fifteen from there is three games under, in the deepest city league the association runs.
A ballpark named for Toni Stone, who broke into a men's professional league in 1953, and the association gives it a line. High Cheese gives Highland Park the page that name is owed.
