Twenty to twenty-one
The North St. Paul Snowmen publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. Every age recorded on it falls between twenty and twenty-one.
A two year band across a twenty-eight game season is not a real roster shape, it is a column somebody started. Belle Plaine and Montgomery have the same pattern, and the honest reading of all three is that a handful of ages went in and the rest never did.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from North St. Paul with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours.
20 to 21 on one bench is a fact worth surfacing, and High Cheese puts a club's roster where the club can shape it.
