Class C baseball in Becker, Minnesota
The Becker Bandits are an amateur baseball club from Becker, Minnesota, playing Class C in the Sauk Valley League under the Minnesota Baseball Association. They went 7-14 in 2026 under manager Kevin Krenz.
The Minnesota Baseball Association lists the home ballpark as HS Varsity Field, which is not a name so much as a description that got typed into a form and stayed. It is the Becker high school field, and everybody in Sherburne County calls it that.
Sixteen classification points is upper Class C, two off the ceiling. Becker is a Sherburne County town of about five thousand on the Mississippi, and the population component is most of why the number is that high.
The association calls Becker's ground HS Varsity Field because somebody typed a description into a name box. High Cheese lets a club enter its ballpark once and have it read correctly everywhere.
