Answered, except the money
Divisions: Open, 30, 40, 50 and 60 and over, run in practice as 18+, 25+, 35+, 45+, 55+ and 60+. Season: about twenty-one weekend games from mid-March to August, plus tournaments over the summer holidays. Tryouts: once a year, in February. Games can end in a tie, with one extra inning if time permits. The 60s play a substantially modified game; the 45s do not.
The league also keeps a written FAQ of its own.
What is not published is what any of it costs, or how a player without a team gets to a February tryout.
A High Cheese league page states the fee beside the season and keeps a free agent pool open beside the schedule, which is the answer to both.
