How to join the Marlins
Players do not sign up with Marlins directly. They register with the Rochester Baseball League, and the league places them or circulates them to managers.
The Marlins came out of the season +38 on runs.
A draft means a club does not choose freely and a player does not choose at all, which is unusual for adult baseball and worth knowing before signing up.
A side that played twelve games will lose somebody over the winter, and High Cheese is where the replacement finds the club rather than the league.
