A city league, not a town ball league
Crystal Cowboys, Macs Industrial Warriors, Metro Merchants, Minneapolis Angels, Minneapolis Blue Sox, Minneapolis Cobras, Minneapolis MudCats and Minneapolis River Rats. All eight are Class A, Section 4.
This is the only league in the Minnesota association covered here that is a city rather than a collection of towns. Five clubs simply put Minneapolis on the front, which no town ball club would ever do, because in town ball the place is the identity and here it is the address.
Macs Industrial Warriors and Metro Merchants are older-style names, the kind that come from a sponsoring business or a works team, and they belong to a different era of city baseball.
Every club is at the association's top grade.
High Cheese gives a league its own address with the schedule, the table and the rosters on it.
