Seventeen to twenty-nine
The Rainy Lake North Stars publish a roster with jersey numbers, positions, ages, bats and throws, school and experience level. The ages on it run from seventeen to twenty-nine.
Twelve years, starting with a high school junior and stopping before thirty. A young roster on the Canadian border, playing eight games in the only window the weather allows.
None of it is reproduced here. A published roster is real people from International Falls with their ages and schools attached, and it is theirs rather than ours. Several of them are minors.
A roster running 17 to 29 is the most interesting thing about Rainy Lake North Stars, and on High Cheese the club decides how much of it is public.
