North Star League

About the North Star League

Thirteen clubs across three grades, including the Orphans, the Kernels and the Crows.

The biggest league in the association here

Buffalo Bulldogs, Cokato Kernels, Dassel-Cokato Saints, Hamel Hawks, Howard Lake Orphans, Hutchinson Huskies, Kimball Express, Litchfield Blues, Loretto Larks, Maple Lake Lakers, Maple Plain Diamond Devils, Montrose-Waverly Stingers and Rockford Crows.

Thirteen clubs is the largest Minnesota league in this directory, and they span three classifications: Buffalo at Class A District 6, six clubs at Class B, and six at Class C Region 6.

Howard Lake are the Orphans, which is a name with a story nobody has written down. Cokato are the Kernels, in corn country. Maple Plain went with Diamond Devils.

Two clubs are hyphenated, Dassel-Cokato and Montrose-Waverly, so four towns are sharing two rosters. Cokato also fields the Kernels on its own.

High Cheese gives a league its own address with the schedule, the table and the rosters on it.
