An unbroken roll since the first season
The league has a champion for every year of its existence: Cardinals in 2016, Buckeyes in 2017 and 2018, Metro Ice in 2019, then the Buckeyes again in 2020, 2021 and 2022 — five titles in six seasons — the Prospects in 2023, and the Rays back to back in 2024 and 2025.
Ten seasons with ten champions and no gaps is rarer in this directory than it should be, and the Buckeyes' run is the kind of thing a league ought to be able to explain with a table. Every season played on High Cheese keeps itself as standings, box scores and rosters together with the champion attached to the year, so a dynasty is a record of games rather than a repeated name on a list.
