Through the league
Registration for Smithtown Braves runs through the Long Island MSBL/MABL rather than the club. LeagueLineup carries the league's online forms, and a player signs up to the league and is placed.
Placement is the league's decision, so choosing Smithtown Braves specifically is not something the form asks about.
A player who wants Smithtown Braves specifically has no way to say so, which is what the High Cheese free agent pool is for.
