Seven competitions, no teams
The league puts more than 1,000 Houston-area players on the field each year across seven separate competitions. Not a single team is named anywhere on its site, and no roster is published.
A thousand players is somewhere near seventy clubs, all of them invisible. Rosters on High Cheese update as men sign and follow a player between clubs, divisions and seasons, so seventy teams become seventy pages — which is also seventy places for a career's worth of statistics to attach.
