The league publishes no founding year and no past champion. What it does publish is a claim that dates it: more than ten years of player career statistics, and more than 2,100 live-streamed games.
Two thousand one hundred games is roughly a decade of seven competitions playing weekly, so the numbers agree with each other — and they are the only history on offer. Every season played on High Cheese keeps itself as standings, box scores and rosters together with the champion attached to the year, so a decade of records reads as a history rather than a number in a sales list.
