Fourteen classification points for a Nobles County seat of about thirteen thousand near the Iowa line. Worthington is one of the most diverse small cities in Minnesota, remade over thirty years by people who came to work at the packing plant.
The ballpark is on Crailsheim Road, named for Worthington's sister city in Germany, and is called the Trojan field after the high school teams while the amateur club is the Cubs.
The Gopher League also holds the Hadley Buttermakers, who won fourteen out of a village of under a hundred, Milroy at 14-7, Luverne at 12-7 and Pipestone at 3-18.
This is the fifth Cubs in the Minnesota set.
A city remade over thirty years by people who came to work the packing plant, fielding a roster that starts at twenty-one. High Cheese gives Worthington the page where that connects.
